Mobility in Latvia.

VIRTUAL MOBILITY.

As part of the Erasmus+ project, an international partner meeting was held at our school. Students and teachers from different European countries participated in various activities related to climate change and environmental sustainability.

One of the main activities was preparing and presenting presentations about climate change. The participants worked in international groups, researched the causes and effects of climate change, and discussed possible solutions to environmental problems. Through these presentations, students improved their communication, teamwork, and English language skills while sharing ideas and learning from one another.

The visitors were also given a tour of our school. During the school visit, they explored the classrooms, library, laboratories, and other facilities. This allowed them to learn more about our educational system and everyday school life.

As part of the cultural programme, the participants visited Riga Old Town (Vecrīga). They had the opportunity to see some of the city's most famous historical and cultural landmarks, learn about the history of Latvia, and experience the unique atmosphere of Riga's historic centre.

The Erasmus+ partner meeting was an enriching experience that promoted international cooperation, cultural exchange, and environmental awareness. It gave participants the chance to make new friends, improve their language skills, and gain valuable knowledge about climate change and sustainability.

"From Inclusion to Action: Building Sustainable and Collaborative Learning Environments"

Before the autumn holidays, a team from our school took part in the Erasmus+ project "From Inclusion to Action: Building Sustainable and Collaborative Learning Environments" in Regensburg, Germany. Together with project partners from Turkey and Germany, we spent a meaningful and inspiring week learning, collaborating, and sharing experiences.

During the mobility, students participated in lessons, sports activities, music and art workshops, and a variety of collaborative creative projects. One of the highlights was the opportunity to visit a radio studio and record a podcast, developing communication and teamwork skills in an engaging environment.

An important part of the visit was learning about inclusive education practices in German schools. We observed how students with special educational needs are supported and included in everyday school life through individualized approaches and targeted assistance. This experience encouraged us to reflect on the importance of empathy, understanding, and equal opportunities in education.

In addition to the school activities, participants explored the historic centre of Regensburg, including St. Peter's Cathedral, the Stone Bridge, and the Old Town Hall. The group also took part in an educational excursion to Munich, gaining further insight into German culture and history.

The Erasmus+ experience provided valuable opportunities to improve language skills, strengthen intercultural understanding, develop cooperation skills, and build new international friendships. We returned home with lasting memories, new knowledge, and inspiration for future learning and collaboration.
